Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to CourtSync users, including people who create an account with email and password or use a supported sign-in provider.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use CourtSync, we may collect:

How we use data

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by providers used to operate CourtSync, including Firebase services for messaging, diagnostics, performance, and analytics, and Sentry for error monitoring. Authentication or purchases may also involve Apple, Google, or the store selected by the user. Data may be disclosed when legally required or necessary for fraud prevention, security, or legal claims.

Website analytics

The CourtSync website may use consent-based analytics to understand visits and content usage. Analytics storage is disabled until consent is granted. The website does not use this consent for advertising or user profiling.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service and meet security, fraud-prevention, legal, and compliance obligations. When an account is deleted, personal account data is deleted or anonymized except where limited retention is required.

Account deletion and your rights

To permanently delete your account in the app, open Profile, select Settings, then choose Delete account. If you cannot access the app, contact support from the email address associated with your account.

You may also request access to or correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting CourtSync support.

Children

CourtSync is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that personal data from a child under 13 was collected without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete it.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Depending on infrastructure providers, data may be processed in different regions with safeguards appropriate to the processing context.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CourtSync or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest version.
